ANESTHESIA SET SPINAL (Saddle Block, Disposable)
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This commercial item description covers a sterile, disposable, saddle block spinal anesthesia set suitable for use in anesthetizing patient for surgical procedures.
Salient Characteristics:
General. The set shall consist of a compartmented plastic tray or trays, containing the following minimum components, overwrapped with a durable plastic material.
One (1) each 25 gage by 3-1/2 inch Quincke needle with stylet.
One (1) each 19 gage by 1-1/2 inch thin wall needle, spinal.
One (1) each 20 gage by 1-1/2 inch hypodermic needle.
One (1) each 25 gage by 5/8 inch hypodermic needle.
One (1) each ampule Lidocaine HC1 5% with Dextrose 7.5%, 2 ml.
One (1) each ampule Epinephrine 0.1%, 1 ml.
One (1) each ampule Ephedrine Sulfate 5%, 1 ml.
One (1) each 5 ml, glass, Luer-slip syringe.
One (1) each 3.0 ml, plastic, Luer-slip syringe.
One (1) each 5 micron filter.
Three (3) each sponge assembles.
One (1) solution cup.
Three (3) each 3 by 3 inch gauze sponges.
Two (2) each paper towels.
One (1) each fenestrated, non-woven drape.
The tray/s shall be recessed to receive and retain components in position for proper use sequence.
