The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This commercial item description covers a disposable lumbar puncture kit containing all equipment for a single lumbar puncture.
Salient Characteristics:
General. The lumbar puncture kit shall be of the following types:
Type I – Adult
Type II – Infant
Type III – Pediatric
Type IV – Adult
The lumbar puncture kit shall consist of a single/double tier, compartmented plastic tray containing at least the following components:
