Tests. Tests shall be conducted in accordance with commercial practice to determine compliance with specification requirements. Where feasible, the same sample shall be used for determination of two or more test characteristics.
Sampling for tests. Sampling for tests, including dimensional test, shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105 and as specified herein. The unit of product for test purpose shall be one Catheter to Luer Syringe Adapter.

Corrosion-resistance. Corrosion-resistance of adapters will be determined by the salt-spray and boil-test methods in Federal specification GG-526.
For the salt-spray test the exterior of the adapter will be determined by the significant surface. Each piece of the adapter must be tested separately.
Dimensional testing. Test adapters in accordance with Section 7 of ANSI/HIMA MD70.1. “Dimensional Test for Luer-Lock Fittings”.
