Performance requirements:

e. Run time (four tests: two requirements, one per extreme of ambient temperature requirement) for both high and low speed. Free airflow at patient end of suction tube.	60 minutes at low speed while moving a minimum of 13.5 LPM (both temperature extremes) 35 minutes minimum at maximum speed while moving a minimum of 30 LPM.

The apparatus shall meet the requirements of ASTM F-960 excluding the sections dealing with filters and pleural/closed wound drainage vessels. It shall also meet the leakage current requirements of UL and CSA.

Workmanship. The suction apparatus shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability.

Unit. Each (EA). One suction apparatus along with two sets of operating and maintenance manuals, as specified, constitutes one unit.
